The Parish Abbey Church 

La Chiesa parrocchiale di Malcontenta si onora del titolo di 'Chiesa Abbaziale' in onore dell'antica e potentissima Abbazia che qui vi si trovava nell'anno mille. Come l'antico cenobio, anch'essa è dedicata a Sant'Ilario Vescovo di Poitiers e Dottore della Chiesa.

Essa è un edificio a navata unica a pianta rettangolare, con pareti scandite da lesene e soffitto piano; sul fondo si aprono il presbiterio voltato a botte, a pianta quadrata terminante con abside semicircolare e due cappelline laterali.

Le vetrate artistiche sono del Maestro vetraio muranese: Angelo Fuga

The parish church of Malcontenta is honored with the title of 'Abbey Church' in honor of the ancient and very powerful Abbey which was located here in the year one thousand. Like the ancient monastery, it too is dedicated to Saint Hilary, Bishop of Poitiers and Doctor of the Church. It is a building with a single nave and a rectangular plan, with walls punctuated by pilasters and a flat ceiling; at the back there is the barrel-vaulted presbytery, with a square plan ending with a semicircular apse and two small side chapels. The artistic stained glass windows are by the Murano master glassmaker: Angelo Fuga
